Vintage Gucci Knit

This cozy knit is from a very specific era of Gucci history in the late 1970s/early 1970s. Following internal family disputes, Guccio Gucci’s grandson Giorgio Gucci briefly branched off to produce his own line of high-end Italian luxury goods under the name "G. Gucci s.r.l." separate from the main house. Because these items were produced for a limited window of time, garments bearing this exact "G. Gucci s.r.l." signature are relatively rare vintage collector's items today.
